Relay Ticket Fire Emblem Engage: How to Use and Get It

Fire Emblem Engage features several unique multiplayer features designed to encourage cooperative gameplay among strategy enthusiasts. Among these features are Relay Trials, cooperative map battles where players take turns controlling units across multiple phases. Accessing and starting these cooperative challenges requires specific consumable items known as Relay Tickets.
Unlocking and Acquiring Relay Tickets
Players can unlock access to Relay Tickets once they progress far enough in the main story to access the Tower of Trials in The Somniel. Completing Chapter 6 opens up this hub area, granting players their initial ticket automatically. After unlocking the feature, players receive one free Relay Ticket every 24 real-world hours simply by visiting The Somniel.
Additional tickets can be obtained by utilizing the amiibo Gazebo located within The Somniel. Scanning compatible Fire Emblem figures grants extra daily bonuses, including additional tickets for online play. This routine ensures dedicated players always have enough resources to initiate new challenges.
How to Use Relay Tickets in the Tower of Trials
To use a Relay Ticket, head directly to the southern section of The Somniel and enter the Tower of Trials building. Select the Relay Trial option from the menu to spend a ticket and set up a new cooperative battle. Starting a new match consumes one ticket, whereas joining an ongoing trial hosted by another player does not cost anything.
When launching a trial, you select the map difficulty and choose your starting squad of characters. You then play a set number of turns to establish position before generating a shareable Takeover Code or making the room public. Subsequent players will jump in to continue the battle where you left off until victory conditions are met.
Maximizing Rewards and Saving Progress Safely
Participating in Relay Trials provides valuable rewards that aid your single-player campaign progression. Completing these collaborative maps yields stat-boosting items, rare crafting materials, and weapon upgrade crystals. These items make tackling higher difficulties significantly easier during standard story encounters.
It is important to note how the game tracks online data and save states. Relay Tickets are recorded independently of standard manual saves, meaning used tickets are consumed permanently even if you exit without saving. To safeguard your hard-earned rewards, always make sure to manually save your game immediately after collecting your Relay Trial completion prizes.
